Sometimes I feel like I don't have enough time to read for pleasure; both books and articles.  There are so many things out there to read, how do people possibly have the time to cover everything?!

Anyway, here are some fun articles this week.  Enjoy!

Enjoying the Weekends!

Happy Monday!  I've loved watching some of the Olympics.  However, I miss our regular programs.  There has been nothing on.  Maybe this is a sign that our lives revolve around TV.

While I know every weekend is too short, this weekend was exceptionally short.  The weather was gorgeous on both Saturday and Sunday.  All the more reason to complete and attack our weekend to do list.  We also need to invest in more experiences and get more out of our weekends according to this article.

Regardless of wanting there to be one more day or relaxation, I'm still trying to go into this week positively though.

Jaime arrived home from a work trip on Friday night (late) and then we had to meet up with some friends for a very quick drink.

Saturday we then made our way to Garden City for a party with some of my work friends.  It ended up being a really fun night, however, I failed to take many photos outside of these.

We ended the weekend with this lovely meal.

It's been a while since I've posted Likeable Links, which is unfortunate since I've read some great things over the course of the last few weeks.  I promise I won't go this long again.

Likeable Links: Thanksgiving Edition!

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  The last few weeks have been quite crazy at work, hence the nonexistent blog posts.  

 I cannot wait for Thanksgiving!  It is by far my favorite holiday.  This is the second year in a row that we will be celebrating in NYC with friends, rather than making the trip home.  Even though we’ll both miss our families, don’t feel too sorry for us, we’ll be heading back to Kansas before you know it for Christmas.  What are you doing for Thanksgiving (or “friendsgiving”)? 

We are hosting our first Thanksgiving ever.  It’s a lot of pressure!  Especially in a tiny apartment.  Although, we’re not doing the turkey.  One of our friends has mastered this process and insisted on taking the lead.  How could I refuse?  ;)  I will be cooking a variety of other dishes and a dessert though.  Like these peanut butter blossoms.

Happy hump day!  It has been a very busy week (this will be my busiest day, by far).  I'm at a conference for work and while it has been a lot of fun, it's exhausting.

I am so happy it’s Friday!  

   Do you ever have those days that fly by and all of a sudden it's 3:00 pm and you're freaking out that you only have a few hours left until the end of the day?  That's been my whole week?

I am ready to relax and try to get ahead on some of the work I did not get to this week.  And I am so excited that it's October.  September and October are probably my two favorite months!

With this week being so crazy, I leave you with some Likable Links for your weekend.

** I find this article kind of horrifying.  I don't think I would want Jaime to do something like this for me.  I am way too much of a control freak.  At least I know I am though.  :)

** First things first, this list of ‘25 Things Every WomanShould Know’ is pretty much dead on.  Especially #4, so everyone write that one down.

** The iOS 7 features are starting to really confuse me, so thank God for this list.  I am sure I’m using my iPhone to about 20% of its potential.

** The ‘100best dishes and drinks in New York City 2013’ was released this week.  We will definitely be wanting to try some of these this fall.

** Am I actually an introvert?
