Happy Fourth of July!

Yay to four day weekends!  My office was originally going to be open and they decided to close the office last minute.  Smart move.

Growing up, I LOVED going to watch fireworks in the park with my family.  I remember grilling and making homemade ice-cream with my Grandma several years in a row.  (Man that was good ice-cream.)

In recent years, my cousins and aunt and uncles would all come together at our house in Kansas City.  It was so fun having all the family together on a great American holiday.

 I still enjoy watching fireworks, but I prefer to avoid the crowd on the Hudson.  Instead, we're getting BBQ; another great American tradition.
