Cocktail? Yes please!

Warmer weather is here and the summer cocktails are right around the corner.

We all know that prosecco is my fav!  But I'm open to any light, refreshing drink that's not too sweet... especially during the summer months.

Here are a few cocktails that I'm excited to try:

**Citrus Champagne Sangria (Photo and recipe courtesey of KiranTiran.com)
4 cups freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
1 cup ginger ale
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 blood orange, thinly sliced
3 clementines, thinly sliced
1 honey crisp apple, thinly sliced
1/2 cup pomegranate arils
 1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
pinch of salt
1 bottle of chilled champagne

** Tangerine Sorbet Champagne (Photo and recipe courtesy of CompletelyDelicious.com)
2 1/2 cups (600 ml) fresh tangerine juice
1/2 cup (125 ml) sparkling wine
3/4 cup (150 grams) sugar
Additional sparkling wine, for serving

** Sweet Whiskey Lemonade (Photo and recipe courtesy from Lifeasastraberry.com)
2 oz triple sec (I like Cointreau when I can find it on sale)
2 oz whiskey (I used Bushmills Irish Whiskey)
1 and 1/2 oz lemon juice
2/3 oz lime juice
1 tsp. granulated sugar (super fine sugar is best, but regular baking sugar will do)
1/2 tsp. apricot preserves
3 oz. tonic water
